It is my pleasure to nominate my ” daughter- in- love”, Caitlyn McKinney, who will be marrying my son, Brad, on May 5, 2012. Caitlyn has been the picture of grace and poise standing beside Brad as he weathered (and won!) personal storms. She is beautiful inside and out and I am humbled and honored that my son should be so blessed to be marrying such a fine young woman! I would love to have a part in pampering her at Spa in the City for her most memorable day–she deserves the special treatment that only Spa in the City can deliver!

  2. Skylar Steffy

I nominate my best friend, Marel. She is getting married this summer to her fiance Richard, who is leaving on deployment for the Navy in November. She wants a small wedding before he leaves. They are the cutest couple I have ever met, and I want her day to be perfect. I am her maid of honor, and if I could help her by getting her professional hair and makeup, I feel like my job is partically done.

I am a loyal customer to Spa in the City, and to my favorite employee Olga :]
If I win this for my best friend, I know she will be taken care of by caring people.

    Thank you so much!

I would like to nominate my bestfriend Ashley Fife. Ashley is getting married august of 2012. She has been my partner in crime, my shoulder to lean on and by my side through all my ups and downs. It has been a long road to her happiness, and she finally found her prince charming. Ashley has lost over 40lbs and is still going! I want her to look as gorgeous on the outside as she is on the inside and I know that the amazing team at Spa in the city are the ones to make it happen.

I looooooove you ashley, and goodluck!

  4. Jeanne Barrans

I would like to nominate my daughter Colleen Barrans. She is getting married on Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Seattle. Being the independent sort, and since she has has been away from home since she was 18 (about 12 years), she and her fiance are attempting to cover the cost of the wedding on their own. I know it is difficult but I respect their request and their resolve.

She does not yet have anyone who can do her make-up for the wedding but I know she would very much appreciate the help. She does not tend to wear make-up often so it is difficult for her to know just what would look best.

She will make a beautiful bride either way, but this would just make this most important event even more special.

I would like to nominate my friend Kim Moir whom will be tying the knot on February 23rd, 2012.

This is going to be a huge celebration with so many friends and family in attendance, with a majority of cost being covered by the bride and groom. Kim has been waiting for this big day for so long and I am truly so happy for her and cannot wait to see her look oh so beautiful on her BIG day!

The groom really did surprise her with the proposal. It was his birthday dinner and he said that the best present he could receive would be for her to be his wife! Such an amazing man!

I really feel that she deserves this as she is such a warm, outgoing, wonderful person! And being that she does have to cover the majority of the costs this would be one less detail (cost) that she would have to worry about.

I would like to nominate my friend and co-worker, Laura Johnson. She is such a caring and loving person. Working in the Neonatal ICU, she gives wonderful care to both her patients and their families in a time that can be very trying. Life isn’t always easy for Laura and I want to be able to give her this wonderful surprise. I don’t have a sob story to share; I just want her to have the best wedding day possible and get some great care from the people who work at Spa In The City, like the care she gives to her patients.

I would like to nominate my soon to be sister in law Christina Libbing. She and my brother in law will be getting married August 18, 2012.
Rory and Christina have been together since July 2001 and she has patiently waited for Rory to finally pop the question. In August 2010 that day finally came. However, Christina is very close to her cousin who is in the Peace Corps and she wanted to wait for her to be home to share this joyous time with her in planning and being a part of the wedding. She is a very loving person and she is wonderful with my children and they just love her. In fact I had to remind one of my boys that she was uncle Rorys’ girlfriend and not his. :)
Christina is very deserving of this opportunity and I think it would be really nice for her and would give her more time to worry about other details on their specal day.

  8. Kim Hazen

I would like to nominate my daughter Christina Hazen, she is getting married May 19, 2012
This is a wedding that will be planned in a short period of time, they got engaged and found out her fiance brother and wife will be in town the week of May 19 and since her fiance Will only has one brother they wanted to do the wedding while his brother is in town, you see his brother is in the military and stationed in Korea so he does not get to come home very often.
So if Christina won this it would be one less thing to worry about. She is a great daughter and friend and would do anything for anybody.
I just feel she deserves this and it would be a nice surprise.
